Not my point at all. My point is Jalopnik has steadily been on the decline for posting too much sponsored content and advertisements for stuff that has nothing to do with the automotive industry. For some reason you’re turning this into an argument over whether or not I’m somehow upset because of a vibrator.

I’m commenting on the fact that Gawker is crossposting between blogs to keep clicks up...and these “deals” are just another way for them to get kickbacks. If the deals had something to do with auto parts, then fine. A while back, the front page was 40% advertisements on bed sheets.... It’s laughable how far removed from the original Jalopnik focus some of the stuff they cross-post is, and posting deals on a vibrator isn’t even remotely related to the auto industry.

Unless the motor is made by Bosch, and we can reflash the ecu for better performance. If that’s the case, we need some long term test drives.

Well when you were specifying not wanting to come to Jalopnik and be blasted by an ad for a vibrator when you’ve been being blasted by ads for condoms and ED meds for years, it does seem alot more like the issue is with it being a vibrator than the lack of automotive content.

Believe it or not, Shep is good people. He’s on the other side of things (ads ‘n’ stuff) and I don’t interact with him much because of that, but I do know the dudes who keep the lights on and/or keep the network-wide mayonnaise/banana sandwich fund happy are *constantly* seeking feedback on what folks want (and don’t want) to see there.

Thanks for the advice, I sent him an email the night I made this post in a neutral, calm fashion oitlonong my concern and have heard nothing in response unfortunately. Not a big deal, just wanted to make it known what I thought and felt others may share that opinion.
